RentStack Plugin Terms of Use

1. Introduction

Welcome to the RentStack plugin ("Plugin"). This Plugin is provided by RentStack LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By using our Plugin, you ("User", "you", "your") are agreeing to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Plugin.

2. Description of Service

The Plugin is designed to read and interpret listing pages on supported real estate sites, including webpage URLs and publicly visible listing content such as address and price when you use price pick, and visible page text when you attach or read the listing page in chat. The Plugin then allows users to engage in a chat with the content of these pages and to run rental property analysis from the browser sidebar. The service is provided "as is" and is subject to change or discontinuation at any time.

3. Data Collection and Use

The Plugin collects the content of the listing pages you use with the Plugin, including the page URL and, when you use price pick or chat, address, price, and visible page text. This content is parsed on our servers and a text version may be sent to our AI service providers' servers, including OpenAI's servers, for further processing. We do not share any data collected by the Plugin with third parties, other than our AI service providers as necessary for the functioning of the Plugin. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. Our Privacy Notice, which is incorporated into these Terms of Use by this reference, further describes our collection and use of data.

4. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for the data they provide to the Plugin. Users should not send personal or company sensitive data when using the Plugin. Users agree to use the Plugin in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Any misuse of the Plugin may result in termination of your access to the Plugin.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, and do not accept any liability for any loss or damage (direct or indirect) incurred by you or any user in connection with the use of the Plugin or its services. Our responsibility is to provide a great user experience and ensure that we do not share user data with third parties, other than our AI service providers as necessary for the functioning of the Plugin.

7. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Your continued use of the Plugin following the posting of changes will mean that you accept and agree to the changes. It is your responsibility to check these Terms of Use periodically for changes. In the event of significant changes, we will indicate this by placing a new icon on the terms link.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Use and any dispute or claim arising out of, or related to them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule.

By using the RentStack Plugin, you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue use of the Plugin.
